AMBER GETS HER LICENSE Congratulations Amber . . . we are all proud of you and I know your Grandma would also be so very proud and happy for you.
Georgia Carline Mackey
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one . . . and wish to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways . . . of happy times, laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun . . . replaced by memories that I leave when life is done.
My wife, my love, the mother of our children . . . family glue, companion, friend, confidant and advisor for over 50 years has succumb to complications from a 28 December 2010 stroke. We met in San Francisco in 1960 when she was 16 and I was 17 . . . we married in 1962. She left us way to soon and would not like this amount of attention or her picture so prominently displayed here. I guess I'm doing it for me. She is survived by her husband Marvin, her daughters Wendy Lee Mackey and Sherry Ann Halub, her son Jerry Ray Mackey, her granddaughter Amber Rose Halub, her mother Genevieve Cox and sister Virginia Cashmore (both residing in Springfield, MO), her brother Carl Cox and sister-in-law Alma Regina Cox (residing in Newark, CA) and her son-in-law Thomas Halub. We miss her beyond words . . . |
